After two hours of tweaking, I'm happy with the mainpage.I've added a slider and moved other things to make it less cluttered. I'll continue working on it in the next few weeks. Feedback would be highly appreciated!
Also, I messaged Wikia and they have succesfully changed the wiki's name from 'Deltora Wiki' to 'Deltora Quest Wiki'.
