The Shadow is a a cavern of the subterranean Pirran Caverns, located directly beneath the Shadowlands. It is beyond the scope of Doran's map of the Pirran isles and beyond Deltora's border.[1]
The Shadow lies past the Emerald sea to the north of the Pirran Caverns and is underneath the Shadowlands, beyond Deltora's border, north of Dread Mountain and the iron-hard rock of the Barrier Mountains. Ahead there, the Shadow looms, ink-black and dark as night.[1]
