The Cavern of the Fear is the cavern where the Isle of Plume and The Fear are located. The Fear blocks the way into the Opal Cavern and the Isle of Auron and is made of a giant clump of flesh with a little head which got a big beak. The most of the body is made up by tentacles. The long thick tentacles fill out the whole cavern, and in the end of each of them, a couple long white wire like strings is located. The wires can grab out for something and take it. Lief, Barda, Jasmine and Glock fight The Fear at the trio's quest to gather the pieces of the Pirran Pipe, but Glock dies after he kills The Fear. He was killed by The Fear, cause by the injury made by 'it'. A cage was placed in the middle of the cavern, which Lief, Barda, Jasmine, and Glock uses to distract The Fear.
