Siskis are tiny, bright-eyed, highly intelligent creatures found in Mid Wood, in the Topaz Territory.

History

Siskis were described by Doran in his journal, during his travels. The journal was later published as Secrets of Deltora by King Lief. In the book he described them as bright-eyed, highly intelligent creatures found in Mid Wood, in the Topaz Territory. However, he also wrote that the species were going extinct.

Filli

A male Siskis named Filli was once found by the wild girl Jasmine who discovered him all alone, paralyzed by the Wenn in the Forests of Silence. As such Filli grew very fond of Jasmine and remained close to Jasmine, and her other friend, the blackbird Kree at all times, often hiding himself in Jasmine's clothing when danger arised.

Physical appearance

Not much is known about the appearance of a Siskes, other than that they are described as tiny, bright-eyed, furred creatures.
