Serri was a young man of Fleet on the island of Dorne. He lived about a thousand years before the time of King Lief of Deltora, during the reign of Queen Adina. He was among the Fleet people who fled to the Deltora to escape the tyranny of Chieftain Annoltis and his murderous Gifting rituals[1] and is ancestor to the people of D'Or on Deltora.[2][3] Peron worked the fields near Fleet with Peron and other people of Fleet.[1]
Serri was a very tall, young strapping man, however his face was covered in angry red blotches and blisters. His garments were work-worn, yet somehow elegant. He seemed tired, with shadows under his eyes, but there was a quiet dignity about him that was very impressive. Like other people of Fleet, Serri would have had golden skin.[1]
