Rithmere is a large city formerly known for its Rithmere Games. It is the largest city in Lapis Lazuli territory and its capital. The city is ruled by three elected leaders who are elected annually.
History
Rithmere is located in the middle of Deltora, in Lapis Lazuli territory, ruled by the Mere people.
Locations
The Star House
The Star House is a large, square building in the centre of the town and all roads in Rithmere lead to it. Upon arriving in Rithmere, all travellers are directed to the Star House where they can obtain a permit to stay in the town. The three elected Mere leaders can be found here.[1]
Rithmere Horse Stables
Located on the southern side of town, lies the Rithmere Horse Stables where the most famous horses of the Mere are trained and bred. Wing, Adin's white horse was said to have come from here.[1]

- The Happy Wanderer - situated near the town's main gates. Doran stayed here during many of his travels.[1]
