First appearance

The Towers of Illica (only apperance)

Poupette is a young Illican girl and a daughter of Olla-Scollbow and Poltice. She is the younger sister of Collin and has a twin sister. Poupette is a member of the Scollbow clan of Collectors of Illica, and as such she lives with family at Scollbow Tower high on the hilltops of Illica. When Collin was being forced to marry Mishatweet of the Isle of Jade, Poupette and her twin sister waited on the Scollbow family and Mishatweet and her family, as well as Britta of Del who was a visitor, at the dinner held the night before. However, since Collin eloped with his true love early the next day and stowed away on the Star of Deltora ship, only Poupette and her twin sister remain among the siblings at the tower.[1]

History[]

The Towers of Illica[]

Physical appearance[]

Poupette, like her twin sister, is a pale young girl.[1]

When waiting on the Scollbows and Mishatweet's family at the dinner the night before Collin's supposed arranged marriage, Poupette wore a heavily beaded velvet dress with heavy skirts. These garments, however, are old and handed down to her from her ancestor, kept in storage and protected by mothballs and only used when the Scollbows need to impress foreigners. When wearing this dress and any other formal wear, the medicine-like smell of the mothballs surround her, as it does all the Collectors.[1]

Personality[]

Poupette is a shy girl. She can become embarassed if she is found not behaving properly, as seen when she was scolded by her mother, Poltice, and flushed painfully, and when scultting off she almost tripped over the heavy skirts of her velvet dress.[1]
