The Plains tribe (also known as the Opal tribe) is one of the seven ancient tribes of Deltora. They predominantly live in Opal territory and their talisman gem is the Opal. They are known to breed strange beings with magic in their blood.[1]

While their law enforcement is unknown, during Adin's time they had a standing army. Plains warriors are said to look splendid in their polished silver armour and white-plumed helmets. In battle they carried swords, spears, and large shields. It is unknown if the army still exists to this day.[2]
