Land Limpets are tiny, hard-shelled snails that live within End Wood, the third of the Forests of Silence, which lie within Ruby territory.[1]
History[]
Land Limpets were encountered by Doran during his travels through Deltora. On his third-to-last expedition in his land, commissioned to write a travelling guide book to the land for King Lucan's son, Gareth, Doran while travelling through End Wood he recorded the Limpets into the book.[1]
Habitat[]
Land Limpets dwell within fern beds in End Wood, the third of the Forests of Silence, within Ruby territory.[1]
Anatomy[]
Land Limpets appear as hard-shelled, tiny snails.[1]
Behaviour[]
Land Limpets are strangely aggressive snails, latching onto the exposed flesh of any creature that happens to pass by them.[1]
Diet[]
It is unknown what the Land Limpets eat, but seeing as the word "Limpet" usually refers to aquatic snails that latch onto surfaces, they are likely herbivorous.[1]
