First appearance

The Sister of the South (mentioned)

Jarred is one of the two sons of King Lief and Queen Jasmine. He and his twin brother, Endon, are the princes of Deltora. He is also one of the younger brothers of Anna. Jarred is named after his maternal grandfather.[1]

History[]

The Sister of the South[]

Jarred and Endon were born a few years after their sister Anna. He was named after his maternal grandfather, Jarred, now known as Doom. Likewise, Endon was named after King Endon, Doom's best friend and Lief's late father. Doom often visits the palace to watch the young Jarred and Endon play, as it reminds him of his youth in the palace.[1]

Physical appearance[]

Nothing is known of Jarred's physical appearance

Personality[]

Very little is known of Jarred's personality, though he was presumably taught by his parents to be mindful of the Shadow Lord and to care for the people of Deltora. He is very close with his brother, and their interaction reminds Doom of his own friendship with King Endon.[1]

Abilities[]

Jarred is an heir to Adin and, as a result, can access the powers of the Belt of Deltora. He is also a potential heir to the throne of Deltora, behind his older sister.
