The threat of Ishkin was used by the Zebak to frighten their children as a form of discipline. Zeel remembered a nursery rhyme from when she was a small child, about how the Ishkin would catch and kill bad children who were turned out with the rubbish.
Habitat[]
Ishkin burrow through the soft ground between the stones of the Wasteland, forming tunnels with a thin crust of earth through which they can easily break to seize prey.
Anatomy[]
Ishkin are insectoid creatures large enough to grab hold of a human being with their jaws. Their shining bodies are made up of several red-brown segments. They have numerous tiny hooked legs and huge curved pincers.
