The currency in the world of Deltora is based on the precious metals, silver and gold. Both Deltora and Dorne use the same currency and trade is often done between neighbouring islands.[1] Also on the islands of Illica and Two Moons gold and silver coins are used.
Deltora[]
Deltoran coins are made of either gold or silver. All tribes of Deltora use the same currency. Gold coins have the largest value, followed by silver. Before the monarchy of Deltora was established, little trade was done between tribes. After the tribes became united, however, they began to trade freely and buy goods.[2]
Dorne[]
Currency in Dorne is comprised of coins, used for buying, trading and selling.[3]
Trivia[]
- It is unknown whether the tribes had a united currency before the monarchy was established.
- The different values of the gold and silver coins of the different currencies used in Deltora and on Dorne are unknown.
