The carrier worms are pale pink worms that have the ability to control minds by entering through the victim's ears and wrapping around their brain. The Shadow Lord created them to replace Grade 3 Ols because they were too "human." The carrier worms were to be used on the Deltoran slaves in the Shadowlands in what was called the Conversion Project.[1]
