Bone Point is a pointy tongue of land that extends into the Silver Sea on the coast of Amethyst territory in Deltora. The famous Bone Point Lighthouse stands on Bone Point and helps prevent ships from sailing into the rocks in the area.[1]
History
At some point long before the invasion of Pirra, a hooded man, now known as the Shadow Lord, washed on the rocky beach at Bone Point. The Torans immediately felt an powerful, evil intruder in their land and gathered at the center of Tora, near the Amethyst. Their minds linked and they conjured a banishing spell. The Shadow Lord, severely weakened by his experiences on the sea, could not break the spell. He resisted it for a short time and then he used the last of his strength to teleport away from Bone Point.[2]
After Adin united the tribes of Deltora, he commissioned the Ralads to build a lighthouse on Bone Point to allow for trade with lands to the west. The Torans blessed the lighthouse with their magic so that it would stand for all time.
