Merry Christmas! - 2014 in Review
On behalf of the admins of DQ Wiki, Lukas and myself wish you all a Merry Christmas! We hope you have a great time and to celebrate, the wiki logo has received a Christmas update!
We've definitely enjoyed editing alongside many new users this year, many of who have made commendable contributions to the wiki. It's really come a long way since the start of this year! We've seen over 47 new pages added this year with over 3000 edits made, combined. Our most popular month was February, with 1,100 edits made in just one month! That's a great effort.

Fantasy Face-Off: Lief vs. Talion!
Hi all! We're exited to announce Lief has been selected as one of the characters to go up against Talion in Wikia's Shadow of Mordor Fantasy Face-Off.
Shadow of Mordor is an upcoming videogame based around Lord of the Rings. Wikia has decided to pick well-known fantasy characters to pit against characters from the game in an epic battle! What's awesome is that the community gets to vote for who they think will win!

New Feature-Achievements!
Hi all!
I'm very excited to announce a new feature we're implementing on the wiki -Achievements! This means that for doing certain things, i.e, making 100 edits, adding 10 images, etc, will reward you in a certain badge, bronze, silver or gold! Each type is worth a certain amount of points and you can view your tally on your profile!

Here at Deltora Quest Wiki, we take pride in being a community-based wiki. Not only do affiliate, we take the time to talk to other Deltora Quest dedicated sites and groups too.

Image Licenses
Hi everyone,
I've been busy adding templates and coding certain things; the usual. Lately, I've been working on adding licenses templates to images that show their copyright and licensing info. The info, to my knowledge, is correct, as I've checked the copyright info shown in the books and anime. More details can be found on the individual templates.
I've created three templates to suit out needs:
1. 'Imagebox Scan' This is used for all images/scans of anything found in the books.
2. 'Imagebox Cover' This is used for any images/scans of any covers of the books.
3. 'Imagebox Anime' This is used for any screenshots from the anime.

For a few months now, we've all been contemplating whether or not to include The Three Doors trilogy, by Emily Rodda, on the DQ Wiki. Finally though, we've reached a decision!
Together with Lukas, myself and other members, we've decided to include The Three Doors! It includes many references to Deltora Quest!

New colour!
Hi all!
I've updated the templates, so when the 'Colour' field is left blank, it appears grey instead of black. This is helpful for characters who's tribe is unknown. Instead of having the default as black, where the reader would get confused as to whether they were from the Shadowlands.

Long time no see!
Hi everyone! Belt of Deltora here! How's everyone going? I haven't heard from a lot of you and it's getting kinda lonely :( Well when you guys return, hopefully you'll notice some new changes:
- I've re-coded the templates completely, so now, with infoboxes, when a field is left black, it won't appear.
- Location Infoboxes now have the option to add an image of it's location on the map. ( At the moment, I'm creating those images myself, hopefully in the future, they'll be easier to make.)
- Many new pages have been created, like the Topaz Dragon, Ruby Dragon species pages. Mostly using information from Secrets of Deltora, this makes it easier to find out information about specific Dragon species.

Episode Pages
Hi, just letting everyone know what they've missed. I've made a template for the Episode pages. A List of the episodes can be found here. An example of a well written episode page is this one. I've gone through and added the template for around 20 episode pages, but all 65 need to be completed. If someone else would help, that'd be great!

New Mainpage Layout
After two hours of tweaking, I'm happy with the mainpage.I've added a slider and moved other things to make it less cluttered. I'll continue working on it in the next few weeks. Feedback would be highly appreciated!
Also, I messaged Wikia and they have succesfully changed the wiki's name from 'Deltora Wiki' to 'Deltora Quest Wiki'.
New wordmark and background!
