Was it ever discovered exactly when in Deltora's timeline Three Doors occurs? Because I have a theory...
Since The Third Door states that Deltora has repelled the Shadow Lord twice, and we know that there was the first time with Adin, the time with Lief (in DQ1), and the original Dragon Night, then it's possible that the 'two times' Three Doors refers to could be the first battle for Deltora and Lief's quest for the Belt in DQ1. (I know we've already been over this, but I thought I should mention it again anyway.) If you include the original Dragon Night, then Three Doors probably took place during Deltora Shadowlands. Of course, this is assuming that dragons constitute a magic more powerful than the Shadow Lord's. If this isn't the case, then I guess Three Doors could take place anytime after DQ ended.
Still, I think that if dragons do count as a magic greater than the Shadow Lord's, then the series probably took place just after or during DQ2.
I'm not sure if we already discussed this or not, but I thought I might as well share what I've been thinking lately about Three Doors' place in the overall timeline.
What does everyone else think?
